The Ambeelance
The AmBEElance is a dedicated specialist vehicle for children and young people under the age of 18. It is specially designed and equipped to meet the complex needs of children who are seriously unwell or receiving palliative care.
The vehicle includes enhanced safety and comfort features such as additional stretcher harnesses, baby pods, and other specialist paediatric equipment, ensuring children can be transported with dignity, comfort, and the highest level of clinical care.
Equipment for Ambeelance
Transferring neonates and babies up to 1 years old, has particular challenges; ensuring a stable temperature for the baby, constant clinical monitoring, and maintaining safety of the patient throughout the journey.
BabyPod 2 fulfills these criteria, providing a safe and stable transportation environment, suitable for air transfers as well as for road transportation.
